Turning left will take you to Al-Hisbeh and the Grand Mosque of Al-Bireh (aka Abd Al-Naser Mosque). The foliaged gate at the left is the entrance of Baladna Cultural Center (Formerly Al-Hashimiyeh Boys Secondary School built in 1912 with donations of Al-Bireh citizens). Right is the location of Al-Wihdah hotel, partially dynamited in the late sixties and bombed repeatedly by Zionist forces over the years.
